The 12th floor of DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London is a pretty special events space – which is why we have booked it for one of our client’s next get-togethers.

Savage Garden has a variety of spaces – there are two sky-high rooftop terraces, a main bar, as well as a private dining room.

With a capacity of 380, you have a number of options.

Wildside can cater for 120 people and has an incredible retractable roof which means your event won’t be spoilt my our unpredictable weather!

Then there is Ferus – a private dining area and boardroom. With floor to ceiling windows, you get unrivalled views of London’s skyline.

This space can accommodate 25 delegates for a board meeting or can seat 32 guests for dinner.

Last, but not least, is the main bar – with views of theTower of London and Tower Bridge – which can cater for 180 guests for a standing reception.

One of our team got to see up close what sort of an impressive events venue La Mamounia is in Marrakech during a recent trip.

Inside and outside, the venue can cater for so many different events thanks to its restaurants, bars, three riads, a 20-seat cinema and spa.

Meetings, conferences or an intimate lunch can all be catered for – restaurants and tea rooms include the Marocain, the Italian par Jean-Georges, the Asiatique par Jean-Georges, the Menzeh par Pierre Herme and the Salon de The par Pierre Herme.

Then you’ll also find three bars – The Churchill, Bar Majorelle and The Club – as well as the stunning black and white patio and three Les Lanternes.

These three new intimate tents, slightly elevated away from the main hotel, are perfect for a variety of activities, day or night.

La Mamounia celebrated its centenary back in 2020 and since then embarked on an impressive renovation thanks to the famous architect and design duo Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku – their efforts have to be seen to be believed!

Great Hallingbury Manor in Hertfordshire – part of the Surya Hotels portfolio - has just undergone refurbishment and is ready to welcome back event planners.

The Oak Room is at the front of the hotel. With lots of natural daylight, it features a feature fireplace and an elegant parquet floor.

It’s an ideal setting for private dining, business meetings, training sessions, interviews and any celebration you can think of.

The Lounge is directly next to the Oak Room – its French doors open onto the patio and gardens.

And if you’re planning a larger event, then both rooms can be combined into the one space.

The Manor also has The Gallery which can host 16 people in a boardroom style set-up and is the perfect location for meetings, workshops or training session.

Not far from Stansted Airport, as well as the 50 rooms and suites, you’ll find Hallingbury Lodges nestled in trees by a private lake.

For an events space with added wow factor, you could try Imperial War Museum North at Salford Quays in Manchester, especially now they have revealed their summer party packages.

With its award-winning architecture and an immersive experience, the venue treats guests to a walk-through history, from the First World War to the present day.

And there are varying spaces to cater for all event types.

There’s the Quay Side for receptions and barbecues for up to 500 guests, or the main Exhibition Space which can cater for up to 500 guests whether it be for a gala dinner, corporate gathering or exhibition.

The WaterShard Conference Centre has capacity for 120 delegates and is equipped with all the tech, as well as handily having 160 free car parking spaces.

There’s also the Harrier Jump Jet Area which can host a reception for between 10 and 300 people, or dinner for 80, plus there is the stunning 360-degree cinematic Big Picture Show, which can be branded and tailored to your event.

IWM North is also home to more than 2,000 fascinating historical objects, making it a memorable setting that inspires creativity and meaningful connections.

No wonder its diary of events is filling up quick!
