Brighter was delighted to be announced in micebook’s Most Sustainable Agencies line-up at its Expo event in January 2025
The Expo is micebook’s flagship annual event which took place at the Convene Sancroft, St. Paul’s, with more than 150 international suppliers and 500 buyers in attendance.
Brighter Project Manager Fraser Frodsham was at the two-day event which consisted of 1-to-1 meetings, networking and informative workshops and plenary sessions covering culture, AI and much more.
And he collected the Most Sustainable Agencies award on Brighter’s behalf, alongside the other 29 agencies which made the inaugural Power30, the brainchild of event:decision and micebook.
As part of the judging process, we had to give the lowdown on accreditations and processes as well as detailing our own carbon footprint.
We also had to include any socially beneficial activities that we undertake as a business.
Roberta Parr, Brighter’s National Operations Manager for Events, said:
“At Brighter, we are deeply committed to being a leading event management agency that delivers sustainable solutions. We are incredibly proud to be recognised in micebook's prestigious Most Sustainable Agency line-up.”
A big part of the award entry process was highlighting three events we have delivered within the past three years.
And the One Global Community Partner Event, which we organised in South Africa last year, was one of just two events to be featured in depth in the Most Sustainable Agencies’ 46-page brochure.
Susie Harwood, editor at micebook, said:
“Brands are increasingly looking to work with agencies and third-party suppliers with strong sustainability credentials. That’s why event:decision and micebook teamed up to bring you the Most Sustainable Agencies UK 2024-25 list, which recognises the top 30 most sustainable event agencies in the UK market, based both on their sustainable internal business practices and their ability to deliver sustainable outcomes for client events. When event:decision first mentioned the idea, I made it my mission to get micebook involved, and with Matt and his team’s expertise in the field of sustainability, I knew they would be the perfect partner.”
And Matt Grey at event:decision added:
“Ultimately, an event agency benchmarking campaign not only enhances individual agency performance but also contributes to the broader goal of creating a more sustainable event sector. By fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing, the campaign empowers agencies to navigate the complexities of sustainability while adapting to the ever-evolving landscape of the events sector. Well done to those who are recognised, keep going those who hope to be in the future.”
