Rio

If you find Rio on your shortlist for an event destination you won’t need to worry about top notch venues and hotels as there are lots of them!

And with Rio being well connected and accessible, you should have no problem ensuring all delegates make the trip, helped by the fact Copacabana Beach, Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer will be there to welcome them!

We were there last month and enjoyed the great weather which you’ll get all year round.

Montenegro

Still a relative newcomer in the European destination line-up, Montenegro serves up a stunning mix of beautiful coastline and breathtaking mountains.

Visitors can immerse themselves in the country’s history, culture and beauty while enjoying its Mediterranean climate with warm summers and mild winters.

Despite the fledgling tourism industry still being a work in progress, there is no shortage of superb event venues – choose from beach resorts, bolt holes in the mountains, an impressive marina or even a base in the mountains.

You’ll get good value for your money too in a country where you’ll still have that exclusive feel – it’s why we have chosen Montenegro as the venue for next month’s One Global Unity Forum.

Marrakech

Awash with historic palaces, desert camps and rooftop terraces, this Moroccan gem is rich in tradition and comes alive with its sights and smells.

Being easily accessible thanks to direct flights from all over the world, the country is well known for its hospitality… and sunshine!

Like the first two destinations we’re featuring this month, Marrakech is a good value location, backed up with luxury resorts and high-end hotels.

And with tours of the popular souks, camel riding and incredible fire shows, there are plenty of experiences to ensure any group of delegates enjoy a trip to remember.

You can even go hot air ballooning over the desert as one of our team found out last month during a fam trip which saw her take part in a belly-dancing workshop as well as enjoy a side-car ride through the city.

Istanbul

For international delegates, Istanbul has to go down as one of the best destinations to get to as it acts as a bridge between Europe and Asia.

Once there, you won’t be stuck for potential venues as there are hotels with views of the Bosporus Strait and historic palaces – Istanbul really does blend its Ottoman past with modern day architecture.

As one of Brighter team found out earlier this month, the city enjoys fabulous hospitality and visitors for any event can’t fail to be impressed with its eclectic mix of history, art and music – it is a city that doesn’t seem to sleep.

It is another destination where you get good value for money and it’s not unusual for delegates to the city to extend their trip so they can escape to the popular coastal resorts when their work is done.
