Excel London
There’s a big year ahead as Excel London, part of the Adnec Group, celebrates its 25th anniversary.
And to mark the occasion, the venue is undergoing a brand refresh with its new mission ‘to be the best event destination in the world’.
As well as this rebranding work, its major development Immerse LDN will continue to grow.
This ‘entertainment district’ on the waterfront in the Royal Docks, which opened in August, is a place where visitors will be able to enjoy immersive experiences featuring famous brands, TV shows, film, music and art as well as original productions.
There will also be the launch of a new 25,000 square metre expansion to excel London which will make it Europe’s largest conference and exhibition venue.
This new space includes an additional convention centre, exhibition halls and conference rooms with views across the Royal Docks.

The Dilly
If you’re wanting to host a show-stopping event in the nation’s capital, then The Dilly could be the perfect place for you.
They can host your event, big or small, thanks to its 894 square metre event space – this includes seven event rooms as well as four break-out rooms, all with the latest tech to hand, so virtual delegates can check in too.
Your event vision can really come alive at this wonderful Edwardian building whether it be for a product launch, gala dinner, award celebration or a conference.
Choose from the Grade II-listed Georgian Suite, dating back to 1908, which has a capacity of 250 people or The Adams Suite for 100 people.

K-West Hotel & Spa
Something very exciting is happening in West London.
IHG is opening Hotel Indigo London K West Shepherd’s Bush, the sixth hotel in its Hotel Indigo brand.
Currently undergoing a £45m refurbishment, this renowned Shepherd’s Bush landmark, was once home to the iconic BBC Kensington House studios where legends such as David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley recorded.
As well as more than 230 rooms, there will be business facilities and function rooms, a destination restaurant and bar alongside a boutique spa and an outdoor garden area.
Located near Shepherd’s Bush station, it is perfectly situated for accessing the Central Line and the London Overground, while Heathrow is not far away via public transport.
The hotel is expected to open in spring.

Village Hotel Club has revealed it acquired another property, taking over the former Crowne Plaza at Caversham Bridge in Reading.
The multi-million-pound investment will see the location renovated to offer the usual Village stylish bedrooms, a pub and grill, a Starbuck’s and health and wellness space.
Importantly for us in the M&E industry, there will also be plenty of events and meetings space as well as hot desks with all the latest technology.
This acquisition is part of Village’s wider investment programme which sees half of its 33-strong hotel portfolio undergoing upgrades including bedroom and facility extensions, refurbishments to bedrooms and upgraded leisure and fitness facilities.
On top of that, ultra rapid electric vehicle charge points are being installed across all its sites, all of which means Village Hotels are a perfect location for a conference or team meet-up.
