The 328-bedroom hotel sits in 56 acres of countryside and is less than 80 miles from Heathrow and Birmingham airports.

Once there, you’ll find 21 flexible event spaces – there’s a 600-seat theatre, a banqueting space for 500 people and a boardroom for 68 people, as well as on-site parking for 350 vehicles.

The Mallard and Kingfisher Suites are the largest spaces which can accommodate 400 and 370 guests respectively, with lakeside decking, and all spaces offer the latest technology and high-speed wi-fi.

Located on the banks of its own private lake, Cotswold Water Park has its own nature reserve and woodland, as well as spa and gym facilities and the newly-refurbished Brasserie Restaurant.

Hotel Adlon Kempinksi, Berlin

Last week, some of our team were out in Germany for a site visit and couldn’t fail to be impressed with the 5* Hotel Adlon Kempinski in Berlin.

In the heart of the city and overlooking the Brandenburg Gate, this luxurious venue opened in 1907 and has nearly 400 rooms and suites, as well as three restaurants – one of which is the Lorenz Adlon Esszimmer which boasts 2 Michelin stars.

Two ballrooms and another 16 event spaces make up the Meetings and Events offering at the hotel which is the perfect host for galas, balls and dinners to conferences, meetings and product launches.

With modern technology available for your event, up to 200 guests can be catered for at any given time.

Not many hotels have their own atelier. But then the Adlon Kempinski is not your normal hotel.

You’ll find its new flower studio and boutique where you can create your own personalised bouquet from the selection of fresh flowers, as well as snap up exclusive Adlon Kempinski merchandise.

There are other shops too including a jeweller, café and the Krigler perfumery.

The hotel’s hosts – the Ladies and Gentlemen in Red – are continually on hand to ensure guests and delegates enjoy their stay with concierge and limousine service also available.

So we’d definitely recommend adding this hotel to your list of ‘possibles’ if you’re looking to organise an event to live long in the memory.

Conference Aston

Have you thought about Birmingham’s Conference Aston – the Hotel and Conference Centre at Aston University – as your next event venue?

The St. Regis London

Marriott International is close to introducing its St. Regis brand to the UK on the site of The Westbury Hotel in London.

The hotel in Mayfair is currently undergoing a £90 million redevelopment, which includes the addition of an eighth floor.

Once work is complete, The St. Regis London will have 196 rooms and suites, a signature restaurant, a speakeasy jazz bar and a fitness centre with spa.

One thing that won’t be changing is the Polo Bar which was originally designed for the Phipps family of America who were avid polo players and creators of the Westbury Hotel in New York and London.

There are nearly 60 St. Regis hotels around the world, offering more than 10,000 rooms, and they are renowned for offering bespoke experiences for memorable and intimate events.
