We would love to share a few tips on how to make your next event more sustainable...

Location

Did you know that the travel has by far the largest carbon impact of your whole event? Consider how you the location you chose can minimise travel for your attendees. Ensure the location has good access to public transport. Avoid / reduce air travel wherever possible

ESG

Have you considered ESG in the planning stages of your event? How can you minimise your carbon impact & benefit the local community through engagement activities or donations?  Did you know that it’s estimated 15% of delegates may be on the neurodivergent scale, how can you support their attendance? We can advise on the use of quiet rooms and consideration around making the agenda inclusive for all, optimising delegate experience.

Catering

You can reduce the carbon impact of your catering by choosing a vegetarian or plant-based menu.

Chose venues that source their ingredients locally and bans air freight for food and beverage, this can make a real difference. Inform your guests about the steps that you’ve taken to make your event more sustainable & how they are all playing their part, they’re likely to be more engaged if they understand the “why” and it will help when they complete that all important post event feedback form!

Hybrid

Consider if hybrid options could be supported for your event to reduce that carbon impact for those that have extensive travel requirements to join in person.
