It's non-stop for the Brighter Events team at the moment.
They helped make The Sun’s annual Who Cares Wins Awards in London happen, organising the nominee registration site, accommodation, onsite support and VIP travel services for the event.
The celebration of the nation’s healthcare workers and volunteers was at The Roundhouse in Camden and was presented by Davina McCall.
The Brighter Events team were also present at the National Institute for Health and Care Research’s (NIHR) Conference for people new to research.
More than 600 attendees were at London's ExCeL, with our Brighter crew sorting all the badges and lanyards, onsite support, venue find, speaker and VIP travel and all the logistical planning for it.
Next, the team was on hand to organise the International Conference on Energy, Ecology and Environment 2023 (ICEEE2023), which was hosted by the University of Central London at the Clayton Hotel Chiswick.
It was the first conference in three years due to the pandemic - the theme was 'New Energy, New Ecology and New Environment'.
The team created a bespoke and fully programmed website with payment facilities for registration as well as bespoke communication including ‘Save the Dates’, invitations, confirmations, modifications and cancellations.
They also assisted with Visa applications, hotel bookings and travel guidance as delegates arrived from Asia, as well as the usual onsite support.
Last but not least we’d like to offer huge congratulations to Joanna Lake, Brighter Events' Operations Manager of Special Projects.
She has been awarded a Command Team Commendation from the Met Police for her work during 'London Bridge' - following the Queen's death.
Her commendation read "her significant contribution and displaying dedication in duty and professionalism throughout the planning and implementation of the complex policing operation for the funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II".
Joanna said: "I could not have been prouder to receive this, amongst all the other incredible people involved in London Bridge. The highlight of my career and something I will remember for the rest of my life, I will forever be in awe of all the different cogs that make an operation like this come to life."
